Day 2: Flight to Skardu
Fly from Islamabad to Skardu, a scenic flight lasting about 45 minutes (weather permitting). Upon arrival, transfer to a local hotel in Skardu. This is a rest and acclimatization day in preparation for the upcoming trek.
Day 3: Skardu - Rest & Preparation Day
Enjoy a rest day in Skardu. Explore the town, visit local attractions like Shigar Fort or Sadpara Lake, and prepare for the trekking journey ahead. You’ll receive a briefing on the trek’s safety, logistics, and the path forward.
Day 4: Skardu to Johla via Askoli
Travel by 4x4 vehicle from Skardu to Askoli, passing through the scenic Shigar Valley. Continue to Johla, where you’ll set up camp for the night. This is the last village before entering the wilderness.
Day 5: Trek to Korfong
Today, begin your trek from Johla to Korfong. The trek is easy, with moderate ascents and beautiful views along the way. Once in Korfong, set up camp for the night.
Day 6: Trek to Bardumal
Trek from Korfong to Bardumal. The journey takes about 6 hours, with gradual ascents through picturesque valleys. Arrive in Bardumal and camp for the night.
Day 7: Trek to Paiju
Trek from Bardumal to Paiju. This day offers scenic views of the surrounding peaks, including Broad Peak and Gasherbrum I. Upon arrival, camp in Paiju for the night.
Day 8: Trek to Khoburtse
Embark on a 7-hour trek to Khoburtse. The path takes you across rugged terrain, with awe-inspiring views of glaciers and mountains. Set up camp at Khoburtse for the night.
Day 9: Trek to Urdukas
Today’s trek is a shorter one to Urdukas. The hike takes you across the Baltoro Glacier, and the camp offers magnificent views of surrounding peaks such as Gasherbrum IV and Masherbrum.
Day 10: Acclimatization Day at Urdukas
